Lace and Leather || Black dress with Trench

“Feminine with a touch of edge” is one of my favorite style descriptions! This is probably why I love mixing leather and lace so much. The sleeve detail on this dress is what drew me to it in the first place… the tiered tulle skirt didn’t hurt either.

Trenches are such a versatile layering piece in your closet. When shopping for the perfect trench you have to remember that there are SO many variations on the trench coat. These variations (style, color, length) allow them to easily go from spring to fall, casual to dressy or with dresses and jeans! I’ve had this one for a long time. I love the volume on the leather sleeves and the combination of the different textiles.
