I’m trying to incorporate a little “Fall feeling” in my wardrobe but its still pretty hot here in Dallas! I have always loved olive for Fall, and mixed with pink this top is the perfect transitional piece. It would look great in the Fall underneath a black blazer or keep you cool in the Summer with the straps and tie back detailing. Also I’ve been wearing this midi skirt non-stop because it is so comfortable! People think when your short you can’t wear midi skirts but its not true.

A few things that help are:

1) Make sure the skirt fits you well and starts at your natural waistline or slightly above. The skirt can be tight or full like this one but make sure if its flowy that it fits you snug around the waist. (or wear a belt like I did here) to define your waistline.

2) The hem of the skirt should be closer to your knee rather than your ankle. If your going to go longer then you should just ankle/maxi length!

3) Wear nude heels because it helps continue the line of your leg down to your toes to add length.

I hope those tips help you take a chance on a midi dress even if your petite like I am!

As always thank you for reading!
