Kitchen MoodBoard // Brookside Colonial

We are in full swing on our kitchen renovation, but I thought it would be fun to share the mood board I created for it! I have always loved doing mood boards when designing a space... You can create it using other rooms/pieces that inspire you or even colors/textures you want to include. That way when you start adding lighting, fixtures and furniture to the board it will make it much easier to see if the item works with the “mood” you are going for. :)

The inset wood cabinets, herringbone floors and range were the first items I added to this board. I love standout lighting and brass accents. Can’t wait to get some brass Cremone bolts on the glass cabinets!

For the plumbing fixtures I will be doing all polished nickel and quartzite on the countertops. I love mixing metals and I think its helps make the space more visually dynamic and interesting!
