DIY Sideboard || Ikea Hack

Hi there! I’ve been wanting to do this DIY sideboard hack for a while! I decided to partner with O’verlays because after I used their product a couple years ago on my daughters dresser. I was so impressed with how well they held up on the dresser over the last couple years!

I decided to use this sideboard in the living room to store toys, the Kallax system is great for kids storage because it sits low to the ground and the cubbies hold alot of stuff. Plus, after you add on the doors everything is easily hidden from sight.

Overall this was a pretty simple DIY and can be done in a day! The Overlays are so easy to work with. I used the grasscloth to add some contrast and texture to the piece. This was the best quality faux grasscloth I could find for the price. I bought a few and this one actually has a real texture instead of just a “printed texture”.

See below for all the items I used to do this DIY! Hope you enjoy it!
