Airy Autumn | Printed top and Lightweight Jacket
I have always loved Autumn. Living in Texas we never know how long a season will last... unless its summer in which case get ready for a lot of hot days. However, seasons like Autumn and Spring come and go so quickly in Dallas. Sometimes they can last a few months or as little as a few weeks. Either way, it is one of my favorite times of year. The air gets cooler and feels cleaner... almost new again. Maybe that's why F. Scott Fitzgerald said "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall."
The cooler weather makes it the perfect time to break out the jackets... they are one of my absolute favorite things to style. Sometimes I feel like I have a closet full of jackets and nothing to style them with. I love this one because of the shoulders... I feel like I'm wearing armor when I put it on. I paired it with a soft, fluid printed top from my line for contrast.
The Brayden top from my line has high side slits which allows you to tuck the front in while leaving the back out- great for styling with skirts, denim or leggings. It also comes in other prints as well as silk solids making it a wonderful basic.
