Bath Refresh | Powder Room Must Haves!

When I decided to take out the built in cabinet in our powder bath I knew I wanted to replace it with an etagere. I loved the idea of being able to see through it… instantly making the room feel bigger. After searching far and wide for one that would fit this space I ended up finding the perfect one at The Home Depot! This one is not only solid wood but the bamboo detailing is so cute! Below are my must haves to add to any guest bathroom!

My “Three Powder Bath Must Haves”:

1) My first “must have” item for a guest bath is a box for feminine products. Its a super thoughtful item to have for guests so they don’t have to track you down during a party. :) Plus they are somewhat hidden and private in a pretty box. These brass/wood boxes come in a set of three and they are beautiful! They are a lighter than they appeared online but the wood tone is so pretty and the brass nail detailing looks super expensive! (Pictured here is the small and medium.) The Large is very generous size and I will probably use it on my coffee table to store remotes!

2) Another great item to include is a bowl of mints or a decanter filled with mouthwash! Its a great way for guests to freshen up after dinner! You can pick a fun color mouthwash that coordinates with your room too. Don’t forget to add some small disposal cups along with it.

3) Hand towels are of course a must have and in a powder bath I feel like you can have more fun with the color/print. I love using tea towel too! I found this cute hand towel that coordinates with the wallpaper perfectly! I love adding stacked washcloths to the shelf too, they are useful and add some texture! These Turkish cotton ones are silky soft and the prettiest light grey. ( I want the bigger version now!)
